Makena Beach- Things To Do In Maui Today

This white sand beach goes on for miles and is very popular with tourists. Makena is a great place to snorkel and it has plenty of bathrooms and picnic benches. There are plenty of beach activities of Maui for you to explore! If you forget to pack a picnic, you needn’t fret, as there are plenty of food trucks.

Kamaole Beach Parks

There are three beach parks here and they are all great places to swim. The waters on Kamaole Park One and Two are very serene. Kamaole Park Three has slightly rougher waters and is a great place for body boarding.

Wailea Beach

If you prefer a little cushiness with your beach experience, you may want to check out this fabulous beach. It offers plenty of rental equipment and is right near a gorgeous resort with shops and restaurants.

Hanakaoo Beach Park

If you are into water sports, or if you are going to Hawaii to try them, you may want to check out this small and intimate beach, perfect for experiencing beach activities of Maui! The beach is quieter and less crowded than most beaches in Hawaii and it offers some beautiful views.

Launiupoko Beach Park

Launiupoko is one of Maui’s most unique beaches. It is surrounded by lava rock and it has a natural pool. There are plenty of picnic tables and it is a great place to bring lunch and just relax.

North Shore Beaches

If you are interested at all in windsurfing, you should check out one of these beautiful beaches. Hookipa Beach is a popular spot for windsurfing competitions.
