Things to Do
Maui is a popular spot to watch whales and go snorkeling above the coral reef. You can also enjoy sailing, kite surfing and paddle boarding on this group of islands. If thrills are what you seek, you can take one of the many zip line tours Maui has to offer. You can fly above the tree line of the mountains or get a panoramic view of the Pacific as you travel above the water at rates of up to 50 miles an hour.
If you prefer more laid-back fun, you can try boogie boarding, hiking or just enjoy the fire dancing, hula dancing and music that Hawaii has to offer. If you are a history buff you can take in a museum or two or take a tour of a sugar cane plantation. Whatever you do, you won’t want to miss eating the tropical fruit and macadamia nuts you will find on the island. You can drink cup after cup of Hawaii’s famous Kona coffee without having to take out a bank loan.
