Fall Journey To Maui

You are planning a trip to Maui and you are trying to decide when to travel. Fall is a great time of year to visit the island and there are plenty of awesome things to do in Maui in October. Most people take their vacations in winter, spring, and summer, and restaurants and beaches are a bit less crowded through much of autumn. There are a lot of great festivals in the fall, and it is a great time to participate in water sports. No matter what may interest you, you are sure to find plenty to do in Maui in the fall.

Outdoor Activities- Things To Do In Maui In October

Fall is the end of parasailing season on Maui. Adventure Maui can take you on a parasailing trip where you will see the island from fifty feet in the air. This is one of the best things to do in Maui in November. No special skills are required; you just sit back and let the giant chute carry you into the sky. The ride last about ten minutes and you will have a panoramic view of the mountains and sea.

Fall is also a great time to take a drive down the Road to Hana, which is also one of our favorite things to do in Maui in November. This windy road is very popular with tourists and is less crowded during the fall. The drive is beautiful, and you will find several scenic overlooks along the way where you will have the opportunity to take pictures that will make your friends jealous and bring you memories of your Maui trip for years to come. Festivals and Events

The famed Aloha Festival takes place in September. The festival goes on for a month and celebrates Hawaiian culture. Maui comes alive with free concerts, street fairs, and parades during this time of year. The Aloha Festival includes the Maui Ukulele Festival, which is held at The Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. Here you will learn all about the fiftieth state’s most popular and unique instrument.

The Hawaii Food and Wine Festival takes place in early October. Be sure to try some pineapple wine and pair that wine with food made by Hawaii’s top chefs.
