Dog Lover’s Journey To Maui

You are planning your fabulous Maui vacation and everyone in your family is so excited, especially your dog. You want to make sure that you plan plenty of activities where your dog will be welcome and enjoy him or herself. You want to make sure that you will all be able to eat together, and you want to make sure that you will have a nice place to stay.

Baby Beach- Maui Best Things To Do

This beach is known for its calm waters and family friendly atmosphere. Unfortunatelly, it’s not a dog park in Maui but dogs are welcome so long as they are on a leash. There is a reef break here, making the waters perfect for snorkeling and seeing wildlife.

Baldwin Beach Park

This lovely beach and park on Paia offers beautiful views and 17 acres of land where you and your fur baby can run around and get some exercise. It’s one of Maui’s best things to do. There are plenty of restrooms and drinking fountains at the park, and there are also picnic tables with grills. They even have a small kitchenette area with electrical outlets available. You can swim safely here, as there is a lifeguard. This is very similar to a beach dog park in Maui, so don’t forget to explore it with your furry best friend! Hiking is also a great choice to explore Maui. Click here to learn more about Pipiwai trail.

Sand and Sea

You don’t have to leave your baby when you go shopping for souvenirs, because this shop allows dogs. Here you will find ukuleles, bath items and carvings by local artists.

Places to Eat

Grandma’s Coffee House is in the community of Kula and it is a great place to eat breakfast and prepare for your day. Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop welcomes dogs, and they have some delicious pies to boot. They have tasty hot dogs and hamburgers there that your dog will love. Be sure to try the macadamia nut chocolate pie when you visit. What Ales You has a dog patio and some great local beers. You can get the hummus appetizer that comes with veggies and bratwurst for Fido.
